Come Relax, Refresh, Renew and Replenish at the
AHAM Weekend Retreat Gathering
June 6-8, 2014
Hello Friends of AHAM,
Come and join us for the second annual AHAM Weekend Retreat Gathering which will include time with V. Ganesan at the AHAM Meditation Retreat and Training Center in Asheboro, NC. Last year’s Retreat Gathering was a very successful one with over 50 AHAM graduates and friends in attendance. Everyone declared it was a most wonderful and spiritually beneficial experience. This year’s Retreat Gathering will begin with a light evening meal at 5:00PM on Friday, June 6, 2014. It will end after the midday (lunch) meal on Sunday, June 8th. We would appreciate your presence.
This will be a very special and fun gathering of AHAM friends and graduates. Come and let’s enjoy spiritual fellowship, relaxation, group meditation and time with V. Ganesan, grandnephew of Ramana Maharshi. Ganesan says he is very excited about being with us for this special retreat gathering. He will also be here at the AHAM Center during the entire month of June.
After the evening meal on Friday, we will come together for group meditation (guided) and a spiritual sharing/message. Each day we will dive deeply into the joy of inner stillness and delight in fellowship and uplifting, transformative, spiritual sharings. Even if you have visited the Center recently, this will be a great opportunity to come and reconnect with your AHAM family and friends and be with Ganesan. You do not have to be a graduate of an AHAM program to attend this event. It’s an exciting time at AHAM, so please come and join us. Let’s “hang out” together!
Please let us know if you plan to attend ASAP or by no later than May 10th, as there is quite a bit of planning and preparation involved. Phone 336.381.3988 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
There is no charge for the actual event. If you are inspired to give a donation, it would be most appreciated. As you may know, AHAM operates through donations and tithes from its graduates and friends. The fee for overnight stay for the entire weekend event which includes all meals is $165 (normal $70 per day retreat rate, plus a $25 administration fee). The fee for Day-only participants is $65, which includes all meals for the weekend and the administration fee. Space is limited, so please reserve ASAP. We encourage you to do it Now! If no space is available at the AHAM Center when you make your reservation for this event, there are some very nice and reasonably priced hotels in Asheboro. It is perfectly OK if you choose to stay at an area hotel.
Contact us to reserve your place or for more information. We look forward to hearing from you soon.

If the mind is happy,
not only the body
but the whole world will be happy.
So one must find out
how to become happy oneself.
Wanting to transform the world
without discovering one's true self
is like trying to cover the whole world with leather
to avoid the pain of walking on stones and thorns.
It is much simpler to wear shoes.
