The Board of Advisors serves AHAM by bringing the perspective of those who live a “regular” life, yet one that is based in the peace of continual Self Inquiry, to AHAM's financial and organizational decisions. The Board meets quarterly, and on an “as needed” basis. The Board makes sure throughout the year that the finances of the organization are kept in balance and suggests improvements in the way that the mission of AHAM is being carried out. Members of the Board also provide background research to the staff regarding issues that are under consideration, ensuring that potential consequences of any decision have been looked at before action is taken.
